Education is our primary mission. Resources Inc. is an education-first nonprofit supporting K–12 student success through educational resources and guidance. When challenges at home—such as housing instability, financial hardship, or limited access to resources—affect a student’s ability to succeed, we connect their family with practical resources, guidance, and support.
Why Resources Inc.
Resources Inc. began as an education-focused organization committed to helping bridge gaps in opportunity for students facing socioeconomic barriers. Our work started with tutoring, mentoring, scholarship assistance, college access, and individualized guidance—helping students find the resources and support they need to continue moving forward.
Students and educational success remain our primary focus. Tutoring, mentoring, scholarship assistance, and college and career preparation are central to our mission.
But through our work with students and families, we recognized that academic success can be affected by circumstances far beyond the classroom. Housing instability, financial pressures, limited access to information, transportation barriers, and other challenges can influence a student's ability to learn, grow, and plan for the future.
That understanding expanded our work. Today, Resources Inc. takes a broader approach—supporting students while helping strengthen the families and communities surrounding them.
